at its core, this work is about creating a moment of delight and inspiring play. by bringing large-scale, immersive art into unexpected spaces, quirky immersive creates pockets of wonder that spectators get lost in.
As a couple, we love the festival scene, getting creative, and thinking outside the box. The inspiration behind our marriage carriage was especially meaningful to us. It looked like transforming the car that’s taken us on countless camping trips into our getaway car as newlyweds. We wanted something that felt uniquely us, and Meg absolutely knocked it out of the park!
Before the wedding, Meg thoughtfully curated a palette of items that perfectly complemented our wedding decor and color scheme, sourcing pieces that tied everything together. On the day of, she worked her magic during the few short hours she was allotted for installation, creating an immersive, whimsical space that exceeded all our expectations. She even went the extra mile to customize and deck out our getaway driver’s costume, adding another layer of fun and personality to the whole experience.
One of our favorite details was a sign that read, “Blissed Out”, which was a playful nod to our new shared last name. On top of it, she made from previously used holographic paper. SO cool! That detail perfectly captured the spirit of the whole project and one of our core values as a couple which is reducing, reusing, and repurposing what you can. Meg didn’t just create something beautiful; she thoughtfully brought our values, our story, and our personalities into every detail.
We are so grateful to Meg for her creativity, resourcefulness, incredible eye for design, and ability to turn an our idea (which was different from her own style as an artist) into something truly unforgettable. She helped us create a memory we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone looking for an immersive spaces designer who brings heart, intention, and a little bit of magic to everything she does.
